Municipal house was just a short distance away. The staff was exceptional, there was a private parking. Totally a lovely experience. We really enjoyed this hotel and will choose it for sure next trip when in Prague.

The room was huge, the bed was comfy, we had everything we needed. Close to powder tower. We liked location and views, no complains at all...

Breakfast is excellent! Location is great!
There is no such thing!
-
Location is excellent. staff is very friendly, ready to help in everything. Excellent breakfast (very good coffee). Excellent noise insulation in the room.
Weak lighting in the room.
-
Great location, staff was friendly, room cleanliness, comfort and coziness.
No bathrobes, dental supplies and an empty mini bar
-
Great location in the centre of Prague - essential for sightseeing, which was fantastic.
-
Very friendly and helpful staff, large room with nice view, very central but quiet location
Quality of breakfast (machine coffee, not always working), smoking in the lobby
-
It was centrally located, a short walk from the main town square.
They don't have enough room on the breakfast room. Waiters wouldn't even bother to help you, the tables were full of used dishes and glasses. The food was OK, but completely unable to enjoy it... The room was beautiful, but the air conditioned was broken, some light on the room didn't work, and the windows did not have curtains. Would expect much more when paying 150 Eur/night...

Clean modern design - no clutter Well appointed rooms - everything you need for a short break Location - very quiet despite position on popular street Breakfasts - in particular the omelettes made to order Very helpful staff - especially reception and restaurant manager
Cleanilness of rooms not always up to scratch - some days our bins were not emptied. Also beams were not dusted.

Thr Hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the edge of the Old Town. The rooms are clean with a fresh and modern desigjn although some a little small. The staff are superb, with every request dealt with promptly and efficiently.
A small bathroom with a faulty shower cubicle was an issue for a 'Superior' room but relocation to a more spacious room was offered immediately.

Excellent location within walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. We were happy to find out that there is a chinese restaurant and a mini mart just next to the hotel. There is another huge supermarket nearby too. Shopping malls are also around the corner. please do not exchange Czeh currency at the airport (bad rates and they charge commission) , do it in town where you can find lots of money changer who can give you better rates.
There is a small step just in front of the hotel entrance that can be missed. There is no warning sign or rug to indicate that and can post a danger. Beware of this.! My husband tripped on that and hurt his ankle.

What a fantastic experience in Prague, my favourite city in the world. I have stayed in a number of hotels in Praha, and this one set the standard. I can't decide which factor was Barcelo's best -- the fantastic location or the fantastic room. The hotel is just minutes walking from the Old Town Square and not far from Wenceslas Square either. A small folk ensemble played on the street outside our balcony both days. The staff offered us complimentary sparkling wine upon our arrival, then parked our car for us (a touch expensive but the price was par for the course for the Old Town and having a valet whisk our vehicle away through tight quarters was a treat. In addition, the hotel has live music in its bar on the weekends. Gorgeous, inviting lobby and a wonderful breakfast. All of this would have recommended Barcelo highly, but to top it off we received a free upgrade to the most gorgeous suite I have ever seen. This stay made for a wonderful weekend before we moved from Europe.

Location is just in the city center. Room is very stylish and clean. It was over 35 degree when we stayed in Prague, but our room luckily had an air conditioned in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed by chilled Champagne at robby when we checked in. It was very nice surprise especially in hot summer. Breakfast was also nice and delicious.
The hotel is stylish, sometimes too stylish. We had a problem with shower tap. It was a bit difficult to control hot or cold tap, or switch to ceiling shower from normal without any instructions.
